Content guidelines
Updated October 19, 2026Verscia helps event teams find and evaluate AV and production providers. Every profile should help an event team decide whether a business is right for their event. These guidelines explain what belongs on Verscia and apply alongside our Terms of Service.
Who can list on Verscia
Verscia is for businesses that provide services, equipment, spaces, or expertise for live events and production, including:
- LED display rental companies
- AV production companies
- Event technology providers
- Installers and integrators
- Manufacturers and distributors
- Lighting, staging, and production companies
- Entertainment companies
- Venues
- Exhibit and experiential studios
To be listed, a business should actively serve event clients in our supported geography, and it should be a real, operating business that event teams can contact and work with. We may decline or remove profiles for businesses whose main offering is outside the live events market, even if they list some event-related services.
Purpose of a profile
A profile exists to represent your business to event teams. Profiles shouldn't be created mainly to promote unrelated websites, increase search visibility, generate referral traffic, or advertise products and services unrelated to live events. Website and social links should point to your business's own pages and relate to the services on your profile.
Accuracy
Profiles should accurately represent your services, equipment, capabilities, and project experience. Keep company information current, including your name, contact details, and service areas, and update your profile when something changes.
Locations and service areas
List only the markets where you can actually deliver services. Don't add a city or region just to appear in more searches. Markets you travel to for events are fine to include, as long as you'd take work there.
Credentials, partnerships, and past work
Only list certifications, manufacturer or dealer partnerships, union affiliations, and memberships you currently hold. Only name past clients, venues, or events you actually worked on and have permission to share. We may ask for documentation to support these claims.
Photos, video, and other media
Only upload media you own or have permission to use. Media should show your own work, equipment, or team. Stock imagery, other companies' work, or media that misrepresents your capabilities isn't allowed.
Complete profiles
Event teams need enough information to evaluate a business, so every published profile has to meet a minimum standard of completeness. A complete profile includes:
- Your business name and a clear description of the services you provide
- At least one service category that reflects what you actually offer
- The markets or service areas where you work
- A working website or a way for event teams to contact you
- At least two images showing your own work, equipment, team, or space
Profiles that don't meet these requirements may be unpublished until they're complete. Unpublished profiles don't appear in search or on Verscia, but they aren't deleted. Once the missing information is added, the profile can be published again. Where possible, we'll let you know what's missing so you can update your profile.
One business, one profile
Each business should have one profile. Don't create duplicate profiles, profiles for businesses you don't represent, or multiple profiles for the same business under different names. If you operate several distinct brands, contact us.
Content that isn't allowed
- Inaccurate, misleading, or deceptive information
- Content that infringes trademarks, copyrights, or other rights
- Content unrelated to live event services and production
- Spam, keyword stuffing, or repetitive promotional text
- Links to unrelated, low-quality, or harmful websites
- Impersonation of another business or person
- Offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content
Verification and featured placement
Verification and featured placement show steps a business has completed with Verscia. They don't change these guidelines, and they don't make inaccurate or misleading content acceptable. Verscia reserves the right to remove verification badges, featured placement, or other profile designations from any business that doesn't follow these guidelines.
How we enforce these guidelines
Verscia reserves the right to remove, modify, or unpublish any profile or content that doesn't follow these guidelines. We may also decline or revoke a profile claim. Where it makes sense, we'll reach out first so you can fix the issue. Serious or repeated violations may lead to removal without notice.
