Guides for using Verscia — whether you are planning an event, requesting quotes, or managing a business profile.

Getting started

Verscia is a search platform for live events. Event planners, corporate teams, venues, and production companies use Verscia to find LED rental companies, AV integrators, staging vendors, and other event production providers in one place.

Providers use Verscia to publish a structured business profile, show services and equipment, share project photos, and receive quote requests from buyers.

What you can do on Verscia

  • Search and compare providers by location, services, equipment, industries, event types, certifications, and more.
  • View detailed business profiles with galleries, pricing packages, service areas, featured projects, and contact options.
  • Request quotes from one provider or from several saved providers at once.
  • Save providers to a shortlist while you compare options (account required).
  • Create projects to store event briefs and reuse them when requesting quotes (personal accounts).
  • Claim or add a business, manage your profile, request verification, and upgrade to Featured placement (business accounts).

New here? Start with Browse providers if you are planning an event, or Verscia for business if you represent a company that should be listed.

Accounts

You can browse Verscia without an account, but saving providers, creating projects, and managing profiles requires a free Verscia account.

Personal accounts

Choose I'm looking for providers during signup if you are an event planner, venue, corporate buyer, or anyone searching for vendors. Personal accounts can:

  • Save providers and build a shortlist
  • Create and manage projects (event briefs)
  • Request quotes from providers
  • Claim a business profile if you also represent a company

The header shows Saved and Projects for personal accounts.

Business accounts

Choose I represent a business during signup if you work for an event production company, rental house, integrator, manufacturer, or distributor. Business accounts can:

  • Add and manage business profiles
  • Claim an existing Verscia profile for your company
  • Upload logos, gallery photos, projects, and products
  • Request verification and subscribe to Featured placement

The header shows a business menu with Add business, Manage business, Claim a profile, Get featured, and Help center. Business accounts do not include Projects or Request quote (on profiles or Saved) unless you are a platform administrator.

Switching account types

Go to Account → Account details to switch between personal and business at any time. If you switch from business to personal while you manage profiles, you can still view your profiles but cannot edit them until you switch back to a business account.

Sign up and sign in

  • Create an account with email and password at Sign up, or use Google sign-in.
  • Passwords must meet the requirements shown on the registration and password change forms.
  • After signup, complete the short onboarding flow so Verscia can tailor your experience.
  • Reset a forgotten password from Forgot password.

Email verification

You can sign in and use Verscia right away after creating an account. We still ask you to confirm your email so we can secure your account and unlock full browsing.

  • After signup, check your inbox for a confirmation link. Open it while signed in to finish verifying. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
  • Until you verify, a banner at the top of the site reminds you to confirm your email. Use Resend verification if you need another message.
  • Unverified accounts have higher browse limits than guests (see Browsing limits). When you hit the limit, Verscia asks you to verify your email instead of signing in again.
  • After you verify, browse limits are removed and the banner goes away.

Finding providers

Use search to discover event production companies across North America. Start from the homepage hero search, the Browse providers page, or curated directory pages for markets, industries, services, and equipment.

Search basics

  • Enter a company name or service in the search box (for example, "LED wall rental" or a company name).
  • Filter results by location, provider type, industries, event types, services, equipment, certifications, affiliations, clients, venues, and more.
  • Use the Verified only filter to narrow results to verified providers.
  • Open any result card to view the full business profile.

Directory pages

Verscia publishes curated landing pages that combine location and category filters, such as providers in a specific city, industry, service, or equipment type. These pages help you start with a focused list instead of searching from scratch.

Venues

The Venues directory lists hotels, convention centers, arenas, and other venues with known AV and production relationships. Search by name from any account. Location and venue-type filters are available after you verify your email. Follow a venue to related providers. Guest and unverified paging uses the same limits as search (see Browsing limits).

Tips for better results

  • Start with a city or region, then add service or equipment filters.
  • If you see no results, try a broader location (statewide or national coverage) or remove one filter at a time.
  • Compare several providers by saving them to your shortlist (see Saved providers).

Business profiles

Each provider has a public profile at /providers/[company-name]. Profiles bring services, equipment, locations, and project work into one structured view so you can compare companies fairly.

What you will see on a profile

  • Company name, logo, photo gallery, and headquarters location
  • Overview and business information
  • Services, equipment, industries served, and event types
  • Service areas and office locations
  • Featured projects, products, pricing packages, and brands
  • Certifications, affiliations, clients, and venue partnerships
  • Business hours, lead time, and social links
  • Badges such as Featured (paid placement) and Verified (reviewed by Verscia)

Actions on a profile

  • Visit website— opens the provider's own site in a new tab.
  • Request quote — opens the quote form prefilled for that provider.
  • Save — adds the provider to your saved list (sign in required).
  • Share — copy a link to the profile.
  • Claim business — appears on unclaimed profiles when you represent that company (sign in required).

Featured and verified profiles

Featured providers subscribe to enhanced visibility, including a featured badge, priority placement in search results, and homepage spotlight opportunities. Verified providers have passed a Verscia review of basic business information. Verification and Featured placement are separate — a provider can have one, both, or neither.

Saved providers

Saved providers are your shortlist while you research vendors. You must be signed in to save providers or view your saved list at Saved providers.

How to save a provider

  • Click Save on a business profile, or use the save control on a search result card.
  • Open Saved from the header to see every provider you saved.

Request quotes from saved providers

On the Saved page (personal accounts), select one or more providers using the checkboxes, then click Request quote. You can send a quote request to up to 10 providers at once with the same project details.

Removing saved providers

Open a saved provider and click save again to remove it, or clear your selection and browse to update your shortlist over time.

Quote requests

Quote requests let you contact providers with project details so their team can follow up. You do not need an account to send a quote request, but signing in lets you attach a saved project brief. Business accounts cannot request quotes from a profile or Saved.

How to request a quote

  1. Open a business profile and click Request quote, or select providers from your Saved list and click Request quote.
  2. Complete the three steps: Project (services and equipment needed), Details (location, timeline, budget, description), and Contact (your name, email, and phone).
  3. Submit the form. The provider receives your request by email.

Required information

  • At least one service or equipment item
  • Event location
  • Timeline
  • Project details
  • Your name and email address

Using a saved project

If you are signed in with a personal account and have created a project, you can select it during the quote flow to prefill services, location, timeline, and other fields. See Projects.

What happens after you submit

Verscia delivers your request to the provider. Each provider responds on their own timeline — Verscia does not guarantee response times or pricing. For urgent needs, include clear dates and scope in your project details.

Review the quotes you have requested from Quotes in the header. A request to several providers is listed once, with each provider named.

Projects

Projects are saved event briefs for personal accounts. You can attach a project to a quote request so the provider receives that brief instead of you retyping it each time.

Who can use projects

Projects are available on personal accounts. Business accounts use the business menu to manage profiles instead. Go to Projects from the header when signed in with a personal account.

Create a project

  1. Click Projects in the header, then create a new project.
  2. Enter a project name, services and equipment needed, location, timeline, optional budget, and project details.
  3. Add your contact name, email, and phone.
  4. Save the project.

Edit a project

Open a project from Projects to change its name, brief, or contact details.

Duplicate a project

Duplicate copies the brief and contact details. The copy name ends with “ (copy)”.

Export a project

Export PDF downloads a PDF of the saved brief. That file is separate from requesting a quote.

Project shortlist

Personal accounts can add providers to a project shortlist. Business accounts do not see these controls. Add from the project Shortlist tab, from Saved providers (plus after Request quote), or from a provider profile (plus after Edit). When you add one provider, projects that already include it are checked; unchecking removes it. When you add several, projects stay unchecked, and Save skips any that already have that provider.

Delete a project

Delete removes the project. Quotes you already requested stay in place.

Claim a business

Your business may already have a profile on Verscia. If you don’t control it yet, claim the profile to manage your business information.

Before you claim

  • Sign in or create a Verscia account.
  • Find your business from Claim a business or click Claim business on your company's profile page.
  • Already-claimed profiles cannot be claimed again.

Verification paths

Instant claim with account email — if the email on your Verscia account matches your company website domain (for example, you sign in as [email protected] and the profile website is yourcompany.com), you can claim immediately.

Work email confirmation— enter a work email on your company domain. Verscia sends a confirmation link valid for 30 minutes. Open the link while signed in with the same account that started the claim. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.

Manual review — if you use a personal email provider (such as Gmail or Outlook.com) that does not match the company website, Verscia reviews your request manually and emails you when a decision is made.

After your claim is approved

Go to Manage business to edit your profile, upload photos, and request verification or Featured placement.

Manage your profile

Business accounts can add a new profile or edit profiles they own. Profiles are the foundation of your presence on Verscia — keep them accurate, complete, and up to date.

Add a new business

  1. Open the business menu and choose Add business, or go to Add business.
  2. Complete the profile sections: business information, contact details, headquarters, services, equipment, markets, and any other fields that apply to your company.
  3. Submit Add business. Your profile is saved as a draft. Open it from Manage business and click Publish when it's ready to go live.

Edit an existing profile

To edit your profile, go to Manage business, pick a profile, and update any section. Each section saves on its own.

From the listing menu:

  • Preview shows your draft before it goes live.
  • Publish makes your profile visible in search. Drafts stay hidden until you publish.
  • View opens your live profile.
  • Unpublish hides a live profile again without deleting it.

Profile completeness

On the manage-business edit page, a completeness ring sits next to the listing menu. The score is 0–100 based on how much of your profile is filled in. More complete profiles rank higher in search after Featured and Verified listings.

The ring color follows the score:

Below 50%
50–79%
80% and up

Raise your score by adding a logo, a clear description, contact details, headquarters, services, equipment, markets, clients, photos, projects, products or pricing, hours, and social links. The score is for your edit page and search ranking. It does not appear on the public profile card.

Profile sections you can manage

  • Business information, contact details, and social links
  • Logo and photo gallery
  • Headquarters, additional offices, and service areas
  • Services, equipment, industries, and event types
  • Certifications, affiliations, clients, and venue partnerships
  • Pricing packages and products
  • Featured projects and case studies
  • Business hours, lead time, and additional information
  • Profile upgrades (verification and Featured)

Media uploads

  • Logo — JPG, PNG, WebP, or SVG, up to 2 MB.
  • Gallery photos — JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 4 MB each. Drag to reorder; select multiple photos to delete in bulk.
  • Project images — up to 5 MB; MP4 video up to 50 MB; YouTube and Vimeo embeds supported.
  • Product images — up to 5 MB.

Upload features require a business account. Save a new profile before adding gallery photos, projects, or products.

Pricing packages

Add optional pricing packages when you publish clear rental or service rates. Choose a billing unit (hour, day, weekend, event, week, month, or project) when it applies. Packages can use USD, CAD, GBP, or EUR. Call-for-pricing and product sales belong in contact fields or products, not as dollar rental packages.

Verification

Verification is a free review that adds a Verified badge to your profile and makes your profile eligible for the verified filter in search.

What verification includes

  • Verified provider badge on your profile and in search results
  • Review of basic business information for accuracy
  • Contact and website checks where applicable

How to request verification

  1. Go to Manage business, open your profile, and scroll to Profile upgrades.
  2. Click Request verification and confirm your profile information is accurate.
  3. Submit the request. Verscia typically reviews within 7 business days and emails you when your profile is verified.

Important notes

  • Complete and accurate profiles are approved faster.
  • You cannot submit another verification request while one is pending.
  • Verified status does not replace Featured placement — they are separate programs.
  • Verification confirms basic legitimacy; it is not an endorsement of every service or project on your profile.

Sponsorships

Verscia partnerships are paid sponsorships for brands, manufacturers, associations, and other companies that want visibility across the platform. Sponsorships are separate from business profiles and Featured subscriptions.

Partnership options

  • Partner — homepage logo, Partners page presence, company description, and website link.
  • Founding Partner — early-partner recognition plus sponsored content and category or market association.
  • Presenting Partner — the highest placement, including “Presented by” branding where applicable.

Plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual billing includes two months free. See Partnerships for current pricing and included benefits.

Become a partner

  1. Open Partnerships and choose Monthly or Annual billing.
  2. Select Partner, Founding Partner, or Presenting Partner.
  3. Complete the intake form with your name, work email, company, and website, then continue to Stripe Checkout.
  4. After payment, Verscia confirms your partnership and follows up with next steps for logos and placement.

Manage your sponsorship

Sponsorship billing is handled in Stripe. To update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel:

  1. Open .
  2. Enter the email you used at checkout.
  3. Verscia emails a secure Stripe customer portal link to that address. The link lets you manage the subscription without signing in to Verscia.

Use the same email from your partnership intake. If you do not receive the email, check spam, wait a few minutes, or contact us.

Sponsorship help

Questions about partnership placement, logos, or billing can go through the contact form (choose Press or partnerships or Billing help) or email [email protected].

Account settings

Manage your Verscia account from Account. You must be signed in.

Profile

  • Update your first name, last name, phone number, company name, and website.
  • Click Save after editing.

Email and password

  • Change your email address from the Email section. Verscia sends a confirmation link to the new address before the change takes effect. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
  • Change your password from the Password section if you signed up with email and password. Google-only accounts do not use a Verscia password.
  • Use Forgot password if you cannot sign in.

Delete your account

Account deletion starts a 30-day deactivation period. During this time you can cancel deletion and restore your account. After 30 days, your account and associated data are permanently deleted.

Scheduled deletion limits actions such as saving providers and submitting forms until you cancel or the deletion completes. Manage deletion from Account or Account deletion.

Contact & support

Reach the Verscia team through the contact form. Choose the topic that best matches your question so we can route it correctly.

Contact topics

  • General question — product questions not covered here.
  • Help with my account — login, email, password, or account type issues.
  • Profile or claim support — claim status, profile edits, or ownership questions. Select your business from the picker when signed in.
  • Billing help — Featured subscriptions, invoices, or payment issues.
  • Press or partnerships — media, partnerships, and speaking requests.
  • Report a problem — inaccurate profiles, spam, impersonation, or accessibility barriers.
  • Other — anything that does not fit the categories above.

We respond by email. Include your company name, profile URL, and screenshots when they help us resolve the issue faster.

Browsing limits

Verscia limits anonymous and unverified browsing so we can reduce automated scraping while keeping signup friction low. Verified accounts browse without these caps.

Who is limited

  • Guests (not signed in) — limits apply per network for 24 hours.
  • Signed-in accounts that have not verified their email — higher card and profile caps apply, tracked per account for 24 hours.

Limits

  • Guests: 24 search result cards, 6 business profile views, and 96 venues.
  • Unverified accounts: 36 search result cards, 9 business profile views, and 144 venues.
  • Trying to open later result pages stays on the last page you can view and opens the gate modal instead of showing more results. Search shows 12 per page: guests can browse 2 pages before the prompt on page 3; unverified accounts can browse 3 pages before the prompt on page 4. The venues directory shows 48 per page with the same page gates (96 venues for guests, 144 for unverified). On venues, guests and unverified accounts can search by name only; state, city, and type filters require a verified account.

What happens when you hit a limit

  • Guests see a sign-in prompt. Create a free account or log in to continue, save providers, and use projects.
  • Unverified signed-in users see a verify-email prompt. Check your inbox for the confirmation link, or use Resend verification. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder. After you confirm, full browsing unlocks.

What you can still do

  • Search, view providers, and browse the venues directory within the limits above
  • Request quotes without an account
  • Read public pages such as About, Business, and this help center

Business profile verification (the Verified badge on a business profile) is separate — see Verification.

MCP for AI assistants

Verscia exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so AI assistants can search the public provider directory and load profiles. Overview and quick setup: MCP server.

Endpoints

  • Public — https://verscia.com/api/mcp. No sign-in. Public profile fields only. About 30 requests per minute per IP. Prefer this for Claude.ai connectors.
  • Account — https://verscia.com/api/mcp/account. Sign in with your Verscia account via OAuth. Same tools and public fields, higher limits, usage tied to your account. Use this when a client requires OAuth (for example ChatGPT connected apps).

Neither endpoint returns contact email or phone, or unpublished profiles. Search returns at most 25 providers per call. Download the Verscia icon at verscia-icon.png if your MCP client asks for a custom server logo.

Tools

  • search_providers — find profiles with filters such as keyword, market or city, services, equipment, industries, events, and provider type. At least one of query or a filter is required.
  • get_provider — load a full public profile by slug (preferred) or id from search results. Includes a profileUrl on Verscia.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Connected apps → Add MCP server (labels may vary).
  2. Anonymous: enter https://verscia.com/api/mcp.
  3. Signed-in Verscia access: enter https://verscia.com/api/mcp/account, then approve when Verscia asks for consent.

Claude.ai

  1. Open Settings → Integrations (or Connectors).
  2. Add a custom connector with https://verscia.com/api/mcp (HTTPS, no trailing slash).
  3. Connect. The public server does not require a Verscia login.

Cursor

Settings → MCP, or add to .cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "verscia": {
      "url": "https://verscia.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Restart Cursor after saving. Swap in the account URL if you want OAuth.

Claude Desktop and Claude Code

Clients that support a remote URL use the same shape as Cursor. Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http verscia https://verscia.com/api/mcp

Or add an HTTP server entry in your project .mcp.json with type: "http" and the public or account URL.

Example prompts

  • Find AV companies in Toronto
  • Who provides LED walls in Chicago?
  • Find staging companies serving New York
  • I need an event production company for a corporate event
  • Find providers that offer LED displays and staging
  • Show me verified rental houses in Las Vegas

If connection fails

  • Confirm the URL is exactly https://verscia.com/api/mcp or https://verscia.com/api/mcp/account — HTTPS, correct path, no trailing slash.
  • Restart the client after every config change.
  • For Claude.ai, use the public URL. Pointing Claude.ai at the account URL is not the anonymous connector path.
  • Still stuck? Use the contact form and include the client name and the exact server URL you configured.

Trust & policies

Verscia works best when profiles are accurate and trustworthy. Providers are responsible for the information on their profiles.

Profile accuracy

  • Describe your real services, equipment, locations, and project experience.
  • Upload only media you have rights to use.
  • Do not misstate certifications, client relationships, coverage areas, or completed work.

Reporting concerns

If you see spam, impersonation, or clearly inaccurate information, use the contact form with topic Report a problem. See also Trust & safety on the About page.
