Works with ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients

Give your AI assistant access to Verscia

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible assistants to Verscia's provider directory. Search companies and open profiles through natural conversation.

What is the MCP server?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data. Verscia's MCP server gives compatible clients read-only access to the public provider directory — the same profiles you browse on the site.

  • Natural language

    Ask for providers in plain English. Your assistant calls Verscia tools and brings back structured results.

  • Two focused tools

    Search the directory, then open a full public profile — the same flow buyers use on the site.

  • Public by default

    Connect with a URL and start searching. Optional account auth adds higher limits and usage attribution.

Set up in minutes

Most clients only need a server URL. Start with the public endpoint — no Verscia account required.

ChatGPT

Web and desktop

  1. Open Settings → Connected apps → Add MCP server (wording may vary).
  2. For anonymous access, enter https://verscia.com/api/mcp.
  3. For a signed-in Verscia connection (OAuth), use https://verscia.com/api/mcp/account and approve access when prompted.

Claude.ai

Web

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations (or Connectors).
  2. Add a custom connector with the public URL above.
  3. Connect — no Verscia sign-in is required for the public server.

Cursor

IDE

Settings → MCP → add a server, or put this in .cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "verscia": {
      "url": "https://verscia.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Restart Cursor after saving.

Claude Desktop and Claude Code

App and CLI

Claude Code (CLI or project .mcp.json):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "verscia": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://verscia.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Or run claude mcp add --transport http verscia https://verscia.com/api/mcp. Desktop clients that support remote URLs use the same url shape as Cursor.

Tools

Two read-only tools. Typical flow: search, then open a profile. Results include a profileUrl on Verscia.

  • search_providers

    Find public profiles by keyword, market, services, equipment, industries, and more.

  • get_provider

    Load a full public profile: services, equipment, markets, projects, venues, and the Verscia profile URL.

Try asking

  • “Find AV companies in Toronto”
  • “Who provides LED walls in Chicago?”
  • “Find staging companies serving New York”
  • “I need an event production company for a corporate event”
  • “Find providers that offer LED displays and staging”
  • “Show me verified rental houses in Las Vegas”

Public and account endpoints

Public

No sign-in. Public profile fields only. Rate limited per IP. Best for Claude.ai connectors and quick setup.

https://verscia.com/api/mcp

Account

Same tools and public fields, with Verscia OAuth. Higher limits and usage tied to your account. Use this URL when a client must sign in — for example ChatGPT with OAuth.

https://verscia.com/api/mcp/account

Neither endpoint exposes contact email or phone, or unpublished profiles. Details and troubleshooting: Help center → MCP.
